Phi Phi Islands
03
Next stop Phi Phi Islands!! A place that we promised we would pass on our journey for its tranquil beaches, longboats and snorkelling spots around all the different islands. After arriving via speedboat, we navigated through the busy centre to the other side of the island where we got a long tail boat to the more quiet, northern end of the island about 20 minutes away where we then hopped on the back of a tractor, after everyone waited for Sophie to get her mango smoothie, which would then take us to our hotel across the beach. We spent the rest of our afternoon at that beach we came in on, walking the length of the beach occasionally swimming to cool down along with a beer/shandy. As the sun set in front of us we decided to get ready and head into the lively part of the island for some dinner, which seemed a good idea but after our meal we were both ready for bed.

The following day we had a small breakfast as we had a quick departure for our boat tour to all the surrounding islands that we wanted to see, we was met with the pristine beach of Maya bay kept by local marshals, bright blue waters and schools of fish swimming by our sides. We got back from our tour around midday and our luck had run out. What started as a bright sunny day, was quickly met with heavy showers, as we ate our lunch which was somewhat calming, so we carried on drinking cocktails until the clouds passed, we then finished our day around the pool until the sun was no more and we took ourselves up to bed without dinner!!!
